The problem
Job boards were not built for salon culture.
Every salon owner knows the moment: an empty chair, lost revenue, and another search through job boards, hiring posts, and resumes that rarely explain whether someone will actually thrive in the salon.
The beauty industry runs on relationships, artistry, rhythm, trust, and shared values. A generic job listing can describe a role, but it cannot show whether a stylist fits the environment or whether a salon fits the way that stylist wants to grow.
Where it came from
Built from the owner side of the chair.
Adatto grew out of a decade running an organic hair salon and trying to build a team around more than technical skill. The hard part was not only finding talented stylists. It was finding people who shared the philosophy, pace, standards, and culture of the salon.
After trying the usual channels, the same gap kept showing up: none of them captured the information that actually predicts a lasting fit. Adatto exists because that problem needed a tool designed specifically for it.
How it works
A matching flow for salons and stylists.
Salons share culture
Create a profile with your philosophy, specialties, team environment, and what you need in the next person who joins.
Stylists show their craft
Build a profile around your skills, portfolio, work style, and the kind of salon home you want.
Adatto matches on fit
Compatibility signals go beyond a resume so both sides can find alignment before starting a conversation.
Both sides connect
When there is mutual interest, salons and stylists can message directly and take the conversation further.
The mission
Fewer cold searches. More lasting matches.
The name Adatto comes from the Italian word for suitable or fitting. That is the premise: not just filling a chair, but helping salons and stylists find the right chair, the right team, and the right long-term fit.
